SAMUEL MOYE MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP FUND

This scholarship provides funding for Sports Registration Fees and Gift Cards for Sports Equipment so all Bethel students can participate in sports.

Samuel Moye is a past Bethel student who passed away in 2022. His family hopes to continue his legacy of joy and kindness by providing opportunities for Bethel students. We also award character-based continuing education scholarships to graduating Seniors each spring.

EDUCATION GRANT

Apply for Educational Grant funding for your special classroom projects! Each staff member is eligible for up to $500 in grant funding. Group applications allow for higher grant amounts! Typical application period is October and November with grants being passed out in December.

ADDITIONAL FUNDING

Do you have a need that falls outside of our Educational Grant process? Apply for funding here! Our Board will review requests the first Tuesday of each month, and applicants will be notified when a decision has been made.

Samuel Moye Student Scholarship

The Samuel Moye Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to honor the life of a past Bethel student who was the epitome of joy, kindness and living life to the fullest. Sam loved hard, lived large, and treasured his family and friends. His infectious smile and loud laugh were gifts to anyone who was lucky enough to meet him during the short time he was here. Sam’s life was taken by a drunk driver on July 11, 2022.

During his time in Bethel, Sam was involved in many different sports, activities and clubs. Sam’s family has decided to honor his memory by raising funds through Bethel Education Foundation and offering $1,500 scholarships to graduating Seniors.
